When you use Landed, we collect:

• Trip data — the information you enter when designing a trip, including destination, travel dates, group details, preferences, and departure feeling
• Generated itineraries — the AI-generated responses saved to your account
• Subscription and payment status — your plan tier (managed by Stripe; we do not store payment card details)
• Usage data — how you interact with the platform, such as number of itineraries created

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and improve the Landed service
• Generate personalized travel itineraries based on your inputs
• Manage your account and subscription
• Send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset)
• Communicate service updates or changes
• Understand how people use the platform so we can improve it

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

Landed uses the following third-party services to operate:

• Supabase — secure database and authentication
• Stripe — payment processing (Stripe's privacy policy governs payment data)
• Anthropic — AI model powering itinerary generation (trip inputs are processed to generate responses)
• Resend — transactional email delivery

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We share only the data necessary for each service to function.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account information and saved itineraries for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data will be removed from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

Landed uses browser local storage to maintain your session and remember certain preferences. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure database access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time. You can update your account information in your account settings, or contact us to request data deletion.

If you are located in the European Economic Area or California, you may have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA respectively. Contact us to exercise any of these rights.

Landed is not directed at children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will remove it promptly.
